  1. Improvements released today

    Today Timexchange released several improvements to the usability of the system along with several bugfixes.

    For agency users, improvements were made to the add assignment process to make selecting candidates and clients easier. In addition assignments can now be searched from a single search box on the menu bar.

    For approvers it is now clearer which assignments are being activated when there are more than one in the list.

    For candidates wanting to switch to using Timexchange for automatic invoicing it is now clearer what will happen to approved timesheets after switching.

    Timexchange was inaccessible for 20 minutes this afternoon due to a powercut affecting various areas of Wellington, including the CityLink network.

  3. Several improvements released today

    Timexchange today released a number of improvements to the usability of the system.

    For candidates, the end date of the timesheet can be chosen when sending to your approver. Also, the assignment dates are now shown on the assignment tabs.

    For approvers, timesheets ready for approval can be approved by any approver part of the assignment, and not just the approver the timesheet was sent to.

    Finally, all users can now delete To Do's no longer wanted.

    Timexchange was inaccessible on Saturday and Sunday morning due to the power cut in central Wellington, and hardware complications arising from the loss of power.

    We apologise to all users inconvenienced by this, and are working to ensure this won't happen again.
  7. GST rate change - sorted

    Timexchange today released an update to handle the GST rate change due on 1st October 2010.

    This means that contractor invoices and candidate claimable expenses will correctly show the GST. Exports from Timexchange for popular accounting packages have also been updated.

    All Timexchange users can continue to expect correct invoices and accurate reports.

  8. Access problem

    Timexchange was inaccessible for several hours early this morning due to a hardware issue. The issue has been fixed and we are investigating the cause.

  9. Timexchange Fax-In has launched!

    Timexchange is excited to announce the launch of Timexchange Fax-In. With Fax-In, your candidates fax their timesheets to a toll-free number, and we do the scanning and conversion into an electronic timesheet.

    With this unique service your agency can finally receive and use all timesheets electronically without any data entry, while still giving your candidates the flexibility to use the processes and tools they are familiar with.

    In addition, we have added integration support for Xero and SmartPayroll to our comprehensive list of accounting and payroll applications. This gives your agency a seamless path for moving your data between Timexchange and these popular services.

  10. Our Terms of Use are changing

    In order to introduce new features, we are amending our Terms of Use. All users of Timexchange should review the newly updated Terms of Use which can be found here.

    The new Terms of Use will come into effect on the 8th of May 2010.
